Perspective Risk to advise UK law firms on Cyber-Security

Perspective Risk (PR) is at the Law Firms and Cyber-Attack Conference in London on the 5th of October.

The event is connecting more than 150 legal professionals from across the UK with Information Security experts.

Law firms are an attractive target to cyber-criminals, evidenced by the attack on Mossack Fonseca, the law firm at the centre of the Panama Papers scandal.

PR’s theme: ‘How not to be the next Mossack Fonseca’ will give delegates the inside view on what happened to the Panamanian law firm via a series of compelling events.  These include a talk by PR Director and thought leader Oscar O’Connor and live demonstrations of the hack.

Delegates will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a Penetration Test worth over £3K and sign up for a free Open Source Intelligence Report.  The report – ‘A hacker’s eye view’ will give legal professionals some fascinating insights around publicly available data held on their firm. Some information, if viewed with criminal intent, could make them vulnerable to cyber-thieves.
